The International Journal of Advances in Machining and Forming Operations is concerned primarily with the science and technology of machining and forming processes applied to the manufacture of engineering components in various materials: metals, composites, plastics, ceramics etc. To this end coverage is given to a range of topics that includes:
· Physics, mechanics, tribology, metallurgy of processes involving material removal, deformation, splitting, shaping, extrusion etc in solid, semi-solid and other forms
· Significant development of new manufacturing methods and processes
· Tool and tooling design, testing and failure modes
· Physical, analytical and numerical modeling
· Experimental methods and methodologies
· Efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of various operations
· Mechanical, electro-physical and chemical machining mechanisms and processes
· Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology
· Micro and nano machining and forming processes

The above list is not exhaustive and papers on other topics associated with manufacturing process operations and technology are welcome. Significant and useful advance of the current state of knowledge is the most essential factor in considering papers’ acceptance.
