The objectives of IJBECHI are to establish an effective channel of communication between researchers and practitioners, government agencies, academic and research institutions and persons concerned with the complex roles of biomedical engineering and Health Informatics. It also aims to promote and coordinate developments in the field from the laboratory bench to the patient’s bedside. Healthcare is a global industry; the international dimension is therefore emphasized in order to facilitate the development of solutions that have a universal focus.

IJBECHI publishes original papers, review papers, technical reports, case studies, conference reports, management reports, book reviews, notes, commentaries, and news. Special Issues devoted to important topics in biomedical engineering and technology will occasionally be published.
